Pallet Grade B wooden pallets are used primarily for warehousing or transportation where it is expected that the pallet won't be returned because they are significantly less expensive than A-Grades. Pallets made of grade B wood will often have greater damage. Depending on board width, there can be 5 to 7 top boards that are between 3.5 and 5.5 wide. The bottom has at least three boards, while the top deck is often spaced at two and a half to three and a half inches, although it can be up to four.
